The AET200 motor protector can almost meet any protection needs in applications such as small motors, small transformers, and solenoids. For single-phase motors, the protector can be directly installed on the main circuit as a protector on or in the winding. Its appearance is small and compact, and it is very easy to install even in a small space. AET200 can provide overheating or overload protection for all small motors. Can provide you with low-cost, high-quality and high-reliability solutions.


Design Principle

The AET200 motor protector contains a metal shell, which supports and protects the internal components, while preventing leakage and mechanical deformation. In addition, there is a calibrated metal sheet with silver contacts inside the metal shell. The fixed contact is placed on the other side, separated from the terminal by an insulator.


There are three versions of AET200 to choose from: the type with epoxy resin insulation, the type with insulating yellow paper protective cover, and the type with additional protective cover.


The working principle of AET200 is simple and effective. The current passes through the bimetallic disc with resistance. When a fault occurs, the increased current and ambient temperature cause the bimetallic disc to quickly disconnect from the contact. When the protector temperature drops to a safe operating temperature, the contact is automatically closed.
