How does a thermal resistor temperature sensor work?

Thermal resistorTemperature SensorIt is a commonly used temperature sensor. It can measure temperature based on the principle that the resistance value of a conductor or semiconductor changes with temperature. It has the advantages of stable performance, flexible use and high reliability. Today we mainly introduce the working mode of thermistor temperature sensor, hoping to be helpful to everyone.
ThermistorTemperature SensorIt is a component that converts temperature changes into resistance changes. It is usually necessary to transmit the resistance signal to the computer control equipment or other main instruments through wires. Industrial thermal resistors are installed at the production site and are a certain distance away from the control room, so the thermal resistor leads have a greater impact on the measurement results. The thermal resistor is connected by a three-wire system. The three-wire system is used to eliminate the measurement error caused by the resistance of the connecting wire. This is because the circuit used to measure the thermal resistor is usually an unbalanced bridge. The thermal resistor is the bridge arm resistance of the bridge, and its connecting wire also becomes part of the bridge arm resistance. This part of the resistance is unknown and changes with the ambient temperature, resulting in measurement errors. Using the three-wire system, one wire is connected to the Wheatstone bridge power supply, and the other two wires are connected to the bridge arm where the thermal resistor is located and the bridge arm adjacent to it, thereby eliminating the measurement error caused by the wire resistance.
