It is becoming increasingly common to use semiconductor temperature sensors as temperature sensors. There are two types of semiconductor temperature sensor measurement ranges: NTC (negative temperature coefficient) and PTC (positive temperature coefficient). There are many different shapes of semiconductor thermistors, and there are various designs of temperature sensors.

Semiconductor material temperature sensors are generally made of metal oxides of some metal materials such as iron, nickel, molybdenum, titanium, magnesium, copper, etc. When used on site, the distance between the control board and the temperature sensor can reach 800 m, so it is particularly suitable for temperature monitoring and remote control in air-conditioning automation control system software.

The data signal converted by the temperature switch sensor is generally poor, and the type of data signal is not necessarily suitable, so it needs to be amplified and converted into a standard data signal (standard working voltage, standard current) so that it can be accepted by the analog instrument panel or DDC control panel. The component that converts the sensor output signal into a standard signal is called an intelligent transmitter; in order to facilitate use, temperature switches with integrated thermal resistors are now produced, which consist of a temperature sensor and a two-wire temperature switch control module, and the display type product is equipped with an ammeter.

The temperature switch control module can be directly installed on the sensor terminals, or installed separately on the on-site pipeline to make the temperature sensor. The transmission and display are integrated, and the temperature value is generally evaluated by data display. In addition to on-site display, the intelligent transmitter outputs 4-20MA DC data signal with strong anti-interference performance, which can be used in conjunction with the secondary instrument panel and can be directly input into the DDC control panel.
