◆Product Overview
The three-phase protector is a current temperature type double thermal protector consisting of a molded phenolic resin base device, which contains three heaters and a snap-type bimetallic disc with three silver contacts welded to it. The bimetallic disc is the center of the motor.`The center point has three built-in resistance heating wires, each of which is connected in series with a phase winding of the motor and connected to a contact on the thermistor bimetallic strip. When the disc is quickly disconnected due to overheating, the neutral line of the motor is open, thereby cutting off the power supply to the motor. For dual-voltage motors, the high voltage is applied to the protector, and the low voltage is used to select the size of the protector according to the contact capacity.
