Scope Of Application
KW is designed to protect users and equipment in fan motors, washing machines and other products. It can be used as a self-resetting thermal circuit breaker (type 2B), motor protector (type 3C) and ballast thermal protector.
Design Principle
KW has a simple structure design and high enough sealing performance to be suitable for dipping paint process. The reinforced shell product can also be tied to the winding.
The spring arm transmits the current from the lead to the terminal embedded in the lower block through the movable contact and the static contact. The spring arm, the bimetallic sheet, and the bottom plate are riveted together by an insulating block, and then the assembly is inserted into the shell, and then sealed with epoxy resin.
Since the trip time of cutting off the power supply depends on the operating temperature of the KW protector, the temperature class should be selected correctly, and the model that matches the motor can be selected by referring to the performance curve.

KW can be directly connected to the windings, and can also be installed outside the resin-sealed motor by clamping or inserting. It can directly cut off the circuit. Due to the plastic shell, the metal parts of the KW protector and the motor do not need to be insulated.
