Principles Of Design And Operation

6AP is produced by fully automatic equipment, and the customizable design of the product can fully meet the various needs of today's automotive industry. The small and compact 6AP metal shell is integrally formed with the terminals, which can accommodate pre-calibrated Ainol snap-type bimetal discs.

Main Advantage

There is an S-type resistance heating wire on the separation base plate to increase the sensitivity to current. The advanced contact system (the bimetal disc and the bottom plate each have a contact) can work together with the sturdy disc to ensure a longer service life and higher reliability. The working principle of 6AP is simple and efficient. The protector is triggered by the current passing through the protector and the ambient temperature. When the disc reaches its preset temperature, the circuit is disconnected. When the device temperature drops to a safe temperature, the contact automatically resets. Each 6AP temperature rating corresponds to a bimetallic disc specially produced for that rating. Each device is calibrated and verified for disconnection temperature. This enables the product to achieve excellent and stable working performance throughout its service life.
